I ran over my mother's old diary in the storage room

Today, I ran over my mother's old diary in the storage room. I read a couple of sections, and they were very discouraging. My mother has dependably been such a positive impact in my life, so I had no clue her past was so beset. The last passage was composed the day preceding I was conceived.

I told my mother I discovered her diary, and asked her for what good reason she quit keeping a diary after I was conceived. She stated, "I discovered bliss. I at long last had something stunning to live for." MMT
